CNRS Humanities & Social Sciences supports all dimensions of interdisciplinary research into Africa through its teams, joint research units and networks. The Institute aims to enhance its work with African researchers to make it more sustainable and equitable thanks to its units outside and the implementation of a multi-year plan at CNRS level. InSHS units are developing cross-disciplinary research with areal approaches alongside several other units specifically dedicated to different aspects of the African continent.
