The Pacific and Oceania
Here you'll find all the research relating to the Pacific and Oceania carried out at CNRS Humanities & Social Sciences and its laboratories.
Research into this vast area of the world made up of both large countries and island regions focuses on past societies, contemporary societies and movements between these regions and with neighbouring countries. Multi-disciplinary units specialising in these areas work alongside units taking a cross-disciplinary areal approach. Finally, a Pacific-Oceania Scientific Interest Group (GIS) is currently being set up.
