The Middle East

Research carried out at the CNRS's joint research units, units abroad and in networks aims to produce knowledge about the different countries and societies that make up the contemporary Middle East. This long-term research covers the movements and transformations of this geographical area over time. Several research units specialise in different areas while others take a more cross-disciplinary approach to areal issues.
